Organisation Profile

Hawkesbury Community College Inc began as an evening college at Colo High School in 1982. In 1987 Colo Adult Education Centre amalgamated with Riverstone/Windsor Evening College and became Hawkesbury Regional Evening College. The organisation became incorporated in 1992.

The College is now a Not-for-Profit delivering quality education, training, work skills and general leisure courses to meet the needs and interests of individuals, industry and other organisations at venues throughout the Hawkesbury.

Accredited Training

As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), Hawkesbury Community College offers nationally recognised and accredited certificate and diploma courses in Children’s Services, Office Administration, Training & Assessment, Information Technology and Small Business Management.

Computer Training

The computing program covers a range of software programs and general skills from beginner to advanced levels. These courses are delivered in small classes, using up-to-date computer facilities. Customised computer training is available to organisations, both onsite and offsite. Individuals and small groups can also enrol for any specific computer training that they may require.

Work Skills program

Short courses are available to improve the skills of small business managers, job seekers, students and for professional development in organisations.

Leisure Program

Learn to dance, get fit, explore your creativity and develop your social skills with many leisure courses offered through the general interest program. Courses provide students with a chance to make friends while learning new skills in a relaxed environment. Courses offered throughout the year include art which is available in several types of media, personal style, building, cake decorating, writing, dance, fitness bootcamps, film making, sewing, photography, French, Italian, learn to surf, palmistry, tarot, meditation, massage, reflexology and more.

Online Learning

Studying has never been so flexible and easy to access. Study when and where it suits you from any computer in the world. Each course results in a Nationally Accredited Certificate or Statement of Attainment, which is recognised by employers, and other Registered Training Organisations across Australia. Choose from the online selection of accredited certificate courses, short courses and individual modules.
